Behavioral Therapist - Behavioral Health - Fremont - Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides timely and effective Outpatient and EAP services to clients of PPG Behavioral Health. Provides diagnostic assessments and individual, group and family therapy. Provides non-diagnostic EAP counseling for employees of ProMedica EAP contracted companies and ProMedica System employees. Is available for a call rotation for EAP after hours.

• Displays commitment to professional development and attends required educational programs.
• Consistently meets deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to prioritize a wide variety of tasks, make decisions, meet tight timeframes, adjust to unexpected or unscheduled demands, and revise work accordingly.
• Supports organizational strategic initiatives and goals while driving to achieve desired departmental results.

• Years of Experience: post Graduate work experience in a direct clinical setting (Example internship)
• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• License: Must have valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs. Good organizational and communication skills.
• Certification: Currently licensed as a LSW, LISW, or LPCC by the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board, or a licensed psychologist, PhD. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer. CPI certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Master’s preferred.
• Certification: Prefer Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
• Years of Experience: 1+ years of post graduate work experience.
