Behavioral Health/ Eating Disorder Clinical Dietitian I ($5,000 Sign-On Incentive For New Ui Hires

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics department of Food & Nutrition is seeking a Dietitian I as part of the Behavior Health Support Team.

Limited Time Incentive Available: selected candidates are eligible for a one-time sign-on incentive of $5,000

• Teach dietetic students
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach involving direct patient care
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient’s status according to age
• Use Nutrition Care Process to assess, evaluate, and provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for the eating disorder and behavioral health populations in the inpatient and partial hospitalization program

Salary: $45,622 - $80,000

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Certifications

• A Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) credential is desirable or must be willing to work towards and obtain upon eligibility.
• Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
• Licensure by the State of Iowa is required
