This is an incredible opportunity for a Battery Data Analyst to play an instrumental role for a battery storage innovator that has recently received Series B, taking their funding over $37 million. Their cutting edge algorithms have already disrupted the GreenTech market by improving the optimization, safety and cost of storage for lithium-ion batteries with their Battery Management System. ⚡ THE ROLE:

They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Battery Data Analyst to join the engineering team. As a Battery Data Analyst, you will be responsible for processing battery data, designing and implementing formulas, metrics, and visualizations for various analytical purposes. You will work with data provided by other team members to drive battery research and algorithm development. This role presents a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about building advanced analytics software frameworks to support battery innovations.

⚡ RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design visualization and software tools for battery data analytics
• Analyze raw and processed data and prepare detailed reports on findings
• Develop metrics and formulas for descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses of battery data
• Implement continuous and automated battery data pipelining for highly available analytics
• Collaborate with battery and software engineering teams in cross-functional projects

⚡ CREDENTIALS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD in Engineering with a focus on statistical data analysis or data modeling, with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong skills in data science software, including pandas, numpy, scipy, tensorflow, etc.
• In-depth interdisciplinary knowledge and experience in battery science, data modeling, and statistical analysis (minimum 3 years)
• Proficiency in Python programming and object-oriented programming experience
• Highly punctual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail
• Proactive approach to data analysis, generating insightful findings, and preparing comprehensive reports in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana, kibana, influxdb, etc.
• Familiarity with version control using Git
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on statistical data analysis or data modeling, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience OR
• Expertise in time series analysis, multivariate models, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, inferential statistics, and causal analysis
