Command Investigations is hiring for a full-time, in-house, licensed Background Investigator for our Lake Mary, FL office. The core responsibilities include detailed and in-depth social media investigations, on-line research using private and public database services, and other similar related investigative tasks.

Additional Responsibilities


  • Format/type/edit full reports of background research findings.
  • Accurate and grammatically correct editing skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work closely with supervisor.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Word & Outlook email.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Licensed Florida Private Detective or capable of being licensed under F.S. 493.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-pace office atmosphere.
  • Must be customer service driven.
  • Must be motivated and possess a strong work ethic.
