Aws Cloud Engineer Jobs

The Opportunity:

As a Cloud engineer on our team, you’ll work with the client to architect, secure, and deploy Cloud systems to fit the mission’s needs. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the environment and knowledge of various on-premise, Cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with clients, fellow engineers, and information assurance team members to inform strategy and architecture design in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to stay on top of the latest Cloud resources as you prototype using multiple techniques and new technologies. Join our team as we transform IT systems by taking advantage of Cloud technology.

You Have:

• Experience with system administration of Windows Server 2012 and 2019 Active Directory, IIS 10.0, and STIG
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of experience with supporting DoD clients
• 7+ years of experience with designing, implementing, or consulting with distributed IT applications
• AWS Associate Certification
• 7+ years of experience with data management, infrastructure, software, cloud migration, integration, and hosting
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, ATO, and the implications of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
• Experience with building, delivering, and managing Cloud IaaS environments using IaaS platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), and utilizing services, including AWS EC2, Network, and S3
• Experience with analyzing security policies, developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, and maintaining cloud security levels and architectures

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with CIS level II
• Experience with client management, including executing projects on time
• Experience with Linux and F5
• Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps
• Possession of excellent leadership skills, including consensus building and mentoring
• Experience with AWS networking, including VPC, Route Tables, and Security Groups
• Master's degree in CS or Engineering
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification
• Ability to manage and work with distributed teams

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
