Automotive Technician / Mechanic - Acura

Rallye Acura, New York's top-rated Acura dealership, has immediate opportunities for experienced A and B technicians. The ideal candidates are motivated, reliable individuals with Acura or Honda service experience, looking to join a team whose values are based on teamwork and delivering the highest caliber of customer service! Technicians are responsible for diagnosing problems and performing repairs properly and in a timely fashion while working cooperatively with other members of the service team to ensure that jobs are performed up to standard.

Responsibilities for A/B Technicians include:

• Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on the repair order is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised.
• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Examine vehicles to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to service advisors.
• Road test vehicles as required.
• Clearly and accurately document all work performed.
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/ perform appropriate repairs
• Perform work as described on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Acura factory and Rallye Acura standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians and staff.
• Ability to operate all types of vehicles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer service skills.
