Job Summary

AutoCAD Drafter Estimator needed for immediate Temp to direct position in the West Palm area of Florida. This candidate will be a technically qualified AutoCAD drafter with the proven ability to speak to customers and produce shop drawings based on those requirements. The right individual will have building knowledge and be able to produce shop drawings and estimates for stone work. Must enjoy visiting the job sites and must be a good people person! Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Draw digital plans (shop drawings, cut list, take-offs)
• Create digital (Flexijet) and physical templates (plus)
• Constant communication with the project managers, shop manager and saw operators
• Create take-offs and estimates based on project specifications
• Follow up with the client to get approvals on projects
• Inputting design specifications into CAD software
• Documenting projects on company software

Requirements

• Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects
• Proven communication skills (English and Spanish - ideally)
• Previous experience as a CAD Technician
• Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent time management skills
• Proven AutoCAD skills and knowledge
• Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes
• A keen eye for detail
