As an Audit Associate you play an integral part as member of the audit team and provide high-quality service to our clients.

What You Will Do

• Actively participate in office events and initiatives as a productive team member of the practice office.
• Display integrity and professional behavior consistent with CapinCrouse’s focus, vision, mission and core values
• Evaluate client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control
• Produce financial statement reports and documentation to support CapinCrouse's audit opinions
• Detect any client accounting and auditing issues and subsequently perform the necessary research to solve resulting issues
• Actively develop auditing knowledge and skills so as to assume increasingly more complex audit and other assurance responsibilities
• Complete analytical review of audit documents

What We Look For

• Some form of related audit experience (internship, summer program, etc.) strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Desire to work as a professional in a CPA firm with CapinCrouse’s core values, vision, and mission
• Reputation of integrity, even in conflictive situations
• Above average ability to learn and use computer software - proficiency in Microsoft Office (required), Citrix and ProSystem (desired)
• Relevant work experience (i.e., internships, summer positions, school jobs) is desired
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills; exhibiting the ability to manage a heavy workload without sacrificing quality of work or relationships.
• Must have completed the 150 credit hours required for the CPA exam
• Ability to work in a team, whether as a member or leader
• Willingness to travel when necessary
• Passion to serve others, especially nonprofit organizations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At CapinCrouse LLP, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. CapinCrouse LLP reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000. to $75,000.
