Description
A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking Administrative Support for the Arizona Admissions department. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Assistant Director of Residential Admissions. This position is responsible for monitoring/stocking admissions supplies & materials, answering/disseminating department phone calls and emails, assisting with special event planning, interview day prep and set up, prescreening applications, taking notes at committee meetings, and inviting applicants to interview.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Planning and organizing special events such as open houses, Founder's Day, and Spring Expo.
  • Prescreening applications.
  • Office printer maintenance.
  • Mailing gifts to accepted students, including dropping off packages with FedEx.
  • Greet office walk-ins.
  • Work study Co-supervisor.
  • Monitoring applications to invite for interviews and/or send decisions.
  • Office work order submissions.
  • Answer and disseminate department emails and phone calls.
  • Scheduling and booking meeting rooms.
  • Lead database monitoring.
  • Monitoring and stocking admissions supplies and materials inventory, other department material requests, office supply ordering, including shopping at Wal-Mart.
  • Processing PO's.
  • Interview day preparation and setup.
  • Checking and disseminating office mail.
Experience & Education
  • Personable and friendly communication.
  • Experience using spreadsheets (Google forms and Excel), Microsoft Word.
  • One to two years experience in an office or education setting preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Organization skills, self-motivation, adaptable, and team-player.
