University of Mary Washington Department of Athletics’ Goals:

This position is a 11-month Assistant Coach appointment. The Assistant Strength/Track coach is responsible for the development and management of student athletes participating in the strength and track programs under the supervision of the Director of Strength and Conditioning and Head XC/Track Coach. In addition, this position will serve as a Athletics Healthcare Professional First Responder

Must possess good verbal and written skills, and the ability to relate and
communicate with student-athletes, National Strength and Conditioning Certification or equivalent required

United States of America Weightlifting (USAW) Level 1

Bachelors degree

1 year of related experience.

MS in exercise science or related field

Experience in a collegiate setting

Required certification should be the Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist (CSCS) OR CSCCa or USAW
CPR
First Aid
AED
