Job Description

Title: Associate Sales Manager


Overall Responsibilities:

This role is a unique opportunity to join the Founder / CEO and Head of Partnerships, to develop partnerships with college programs, youth organizations, professional leagues and brands. We are looking for a passionate, results orientated sales leader who is interested in building the VOICEINSPORTbrand through partnerships.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding prospects, representing VOICEINSPORT, and connecting the Founder / Head of Partnerships with potential brand partners to deliver on revenue targets. In this role you will formally present to partners walking potential customers throughour digital platform and how teams and/or brands can partner with VOICEINSPORT to support girls in sport.


The ideal candidate has sales experience and is well connected in the sports industry. Strongcommunication and organizational skills will be critical. Proven track record of managing and setting budgets, working with a CRM tool and leading a sales & operational planning process is a must.


This role will also support the Founder & Head of Partnerships on market research, contracts, processing invoices, onboarding clients / brands and teams and building our customer data base.


There is an opportunity for this position to become a full-time employee role at VOICEINSPORT but it will start out as a Full Time Contracted position.


Additional Details:

Sales

  • Build fulfillment and tracking plans for current partners, brands and teams.
  • Weekly outreach to potential partners to set up meetings.
  • Present the VOICEINSPORT platform and services to potential partners and grow the community.
  • Land renewal deals with current partners
  • Create and manage budgets.


Communication

  • Bi-weekly meetings with the Founder & Head of Partnerships.
  • Build an email and phone database on sales targets, brands, clients, using CRM etc
  • Create a weekly report on sales leads and outreach completed.


Qualifications:

  • Passion for women’s sports and the next generation of women athletes.
  • Comfortable with commission-only pay structure.
  • Experience selling in the sports industry and technology platforms.
  • Bachelor Degree
  • 1+ years sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Professional and detailed communication style.
