As the Associate Program Manager, Building Solutions you will be responsible for supporting the Building Solutions Team with the administrative oversight of all project-related reporting, data management, and project monitoring. This position will be exposed to all facets of Industrial Real Estate sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic guidance, oversee the implementation and execution of sustainable development and operations programs
  • Prepare, manage, and execute various types of contracts and project documentation in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Link to further develop our sustainable development and operations guidelines and processes
  • Work with internal and external teams to gather and analyze data in support of ongoing project implementation
  • Assist with communicating the value proposition to both internal and external stakeholders for key programs
  • Ensure timely payments of expenses and accurate coding
  • The role will involve collaborating across all major business lines to implement portfolio sustainability programs and initiatives
  • Support all phases of the Building Solutions projects from initial due diligence to project close out
  • Manage project documentation and confirm proper records are maintained for programs within various reporting/management software
  • Coordinate budgeting & financial projection information from developers, vendors & contractors for Building Solutions management team
  • See contract through workflow including working with legal on any contract negotiations as needed
  • Engage in the development and implementation of portfolio wide sustainability policies and programs
  • Coordinate the “Close Out” process of completed projects and ensure all documentation is received and financial records are finalized


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of relevant real estate industry or sustainability experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate a proven ability to meet deadlines, to work well under pressure, and to exercise exceptional time management
  • Understanding and interpretation of basic construction and accounting terminology
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with Yardi also a plus
  • Professionalism; taking responsibility for decisions, actions, and results
  • BA or BS in relevant field of study (Engineering, Real Estate, Business Management or similar)
  • Excellent verbal, written, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude & team player a must
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be detail oriented, possess strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and computer skills.
  • Candidate should be a proactive and motivated individual who is willing to help the company streamline processes and add efficiencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, follow instruction, and prioritize work based on varying conditions
