Overview
- Lead virtual and in-person presentations of product / product strategy to Direct Accounts.
- Become key conduit and communicator to represent brand product strategy and vision to accounts, and ensure account feedback and learnings is driven back through our category teams for future planning.
- Energize Reebok through fresh seasonal fashion executions, premium assortments, and core offerings while growing in a sustainable and profitable manner.
- Establish a diversified men’s, women’s and kids product portfolio that showcases the strength of our brand and expands price points across Reebok categories.
- Assist / create product presentations for team, executives, GMM (Global Management Meetings), and key milestone meetings.
- Track, monitor, and report project progress and ensure accurate information in the product management systems.
- Immerse yourself in the key account consumer and sneaker culture, providing insights to the product triad that enable deep storytelling and innovative product.
- Engineer product that delivers superior consumer value while maximizing Gross Margin impact.
- Cultivate industry knowledge and continually evaluate competitors to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Influence and collaborate strategic vision for new product offering directed at key account.
- Lead in product briefing process, ensuring timely delivery that contains visual and factual cues to design and development staff during product creation process.
- Prepare and broadcast key account strategies and opportunities throughout the enterprise.
- Manage the marketplace by offering differentiation, segmentation, and flow opportunities ensuring synchronicity with brand and account strategies.
- Ensure correct brand positioning of product line consistent with brand DNA.
- Lead / execute merchandising plans and strategies that support seasonal stories and key initiatives.
- Provide insight and analysis of consumer and marketing trends, competition, retail landscape, and cultural drivers affecting business dynamics.
- Perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position and quality / value, and/or reduce costs.
- Leverage your and others' consumer and competitive insights, market research, and market / industry trends to influence category concepts and products.
- Analyze and prepare global category business performance reports.
- Ensure products / product lines meet market requirements while meeting budget, and targeted Go-In-Margin, revenue, quality / pricing, and timelines.
- Ensure business units achieve targeted financial results, revenue, and margin.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure quality across entire commercialization process.
- Think and act in a goal-oriented manner, prioritize, and complete tasks in order of importance.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Drive accountability across the team, ensuring timely completion of all tasks within the seasonal development calendar, successful conclusion of time-sensitive special projects, and continually identifying ways to improve the process.
- Ability to work independently and perform a variety of tasks with different levels of complexity by developing effective plans and organizing work efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- 5+ years’ experience in a footwear product management / product creation environment.
- Deep understanding of consumer, trend, and materials.
- Passion for product, creative thinker, and ability to effectively solve problems in a cross functional environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
