About The Role

We’re seeking a Financial Associate to build out the FP&A Business Partnership function at Chime! As a finance team member, you will have a key role in developing and shaping our business and financial strategy and executing several high-impact cross-functional initiatives at the company. You will help create the planning and budgeting process from the ground up and work closely with the team to develop budget tracking and reporting. You will collaborate with business units to drive KPIs’ continuous improvement and develop models to track against budget requirements. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who can break down complex problems into actionable components without losing sight of the overall strategy.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $144,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

• Facilitate deal negotiations with vendors and partners, including financial analysis
• Provide data-driven insights to facilitate decision making and influence strategy with financial model building, reporting, process flow, and dashboard development
• Implement new systems and processes to help the finance function scale as the organization grows
• Optimize and improve on financial forecasting accuracy through advanced modeling and business partnership.
• Collaborate with leadership on headcount planning, reporting and analysis across multiple departments.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting for business leadership to ensure departments are operating efficiently and within budget

To thrive in this role, you have

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required
• A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field
• Proven ability to manage time with multiple priorities and opposing deadlines.
• A strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality. Working diligently to navigate ambiguity/obstacles and drive projects to completion.
• Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adopt changes and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus Experience: Adaptive Insights, Netsuite, Looker, Workday, Google Sheets/Slides, SQL, Snowflake, Python, VBA
• Minimum 3+ years of finance/FP&A, investment banking, business intelligence, or consulting experience
