This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join BeiGene’s Global Technology Services team, that values creative thinking, speed, efficiency and pragmatism.
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Data Architecture, we are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Master Data Management leader to drive and execute on our MDM strategy. This role will lead the design and implementation of enterprise MDM solution. This position will be responsible for MDM platform and tools, integration, architecture, build and implementation in collaboration with vendor and internal resources. It is essential to have experience designing and delivering MDM platforms leveraging the modern software (Reltio, TIBCO EBX, Atacamma etc.).
Essential Functions of the job:
  • Lead requirement analysis and design discussions with users, technical and business stakeholders and monitor all agile ceremonies with teams
  • Drive harmonization of relevant Master Data processes to provide a common view of the business while also offering flexibility to meet functional needs.
  • Translate strategic business needs into technical architecture.
  • Experienced in Data warehousing and data model is a big plus.
  • Lead targeted communication, change management, and training associated with Master Data Management to ensure adoption.
  • Drive the centralization, standardization, and harmonization of the master data landscape
  • Develop targeted metrics showing impacts of data activities, with executive dashboard to show key benefits and outcomes associated with data activities.
  • Define clear technical roadmap from the AS-IS state to the TO-BE state is carefully planned and delivered, avoiding disruption to existing operations including defining strategy to scale up the MDM team and operating model.
  • Champion data accuracy culture adoption to the broader organization by ensuring that Master Data Management assets are understood, available and used.
  • Experience leading multiple development teams across various value streams providing nurturing leadership and talent development efforts for successful project delivery, application, and platform support.
  • Own the enterprise MDM program and portfolio of projects related to enterprise MDM working closely with the enterprise data governance initiatives.
  • Continued focus on master data operational excellence, including advanced technologies, to optimize data value chain.
  • Lead and direct vendor resources and internal teams of Technical/Analyst and Solution Architects and outsourced resources to build and deliver next generation data management.
  • Ability to be “hands on” with technology if needed to test, modify, and execute solutions to achieve expected outcomes
  • Drive innovation in MDM, Reference Data Management (RDM) and other data initiatives and shape the long-term view based on industry trends and opportunities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Strong team player who engages with peers to define, sponsor, and execute continuous improvements.
  • Strong experience in business analysis and process mapping
  • May have supervisory responsibility to junior staff, vendors, contractors as well as offshore team and future FTEs
  • Solid leadership, technical writing, and communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of new platforms, languages, tools and technologies
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with SAP ERP Data, Azure, AWS or Snowflake databases/data warehouse
  • 7+ year’s data architecture experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in data management with at least 8+ years of strong experience in MDM and RDM with tools such as Collibra, TIBCO or Reltio etc.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Preference given to individuals with Pharmaceutical experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Travel: 5% to 10%
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field/experiences

Salary Range: $142,600.00 - $192,600.00 annually

Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
