Associate Brand Designer

As an Associate Brand Designer at Fastly, you'll work alongside a talented team of versatile designers to create exceptional assets that resonate with customers at every interaction. Your work will span a breadth of deliverables including digital, print and event assets to name a few. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to think creatively, take creative direction and partner closely with cross-functional teams. What You'll Do

• Actively participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Support the creation and maintenance of design templates and asset libraries to streamline the brand design process
• Own the updates and evolution of existing digital and print assets
• Support the design team in all aspects of the creative process from initial concepts through final deliverables
• Stay up-to-date with design best practices, emerging trends, and innovative techniques to continuously improve the quality and impact of our brand visuals
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to produce high quality, on-brand assets across sales presentations, campaign assets, Fastly.com and more

What We're Looking For

• You have a passion for current trends in design, technology, culture, and visual arts
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders
• You have a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including branding, digital design, and print materials
• You possess a strong dedication towards personal growth, constantly striving to expand and enhance your skill set
• You have experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across different platforms
• You have 2+ years of professional design experience, and possess a solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:

• Video editing experience
• Figma expertise
• Motion graphics experience

Work Hours

• This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:

This position is a HYBRID position and open to the following office locations:

• San Francisco, CA
• New York, NY

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $66,060 to $97,150.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
