Department of Family and Community Medicine Medical Director: University of Maryland Campus Health Assistant/Associate Professor: The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time Family Medicine physician. This position offers a unique opportunity for an active clinician who is also interested in program management and developing a leadership role on campus. Our physicians practice in a busy academic/residency environment taking pride in serving a diverse population in a downtown urban setting. Teaching and supervision of residents in both the inpatient and outpatient settings will be included. We have a highly competitive Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship and a strong Research Division as well as ongoing partnerships throughout the state of Maryland including well-established community relationships. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine and eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Maryland. This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching and the ability to work well in a team setting.
