Assistant Service Manager - Ollerton & Newark

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Assistant Service Manager to work along aside Service Manager Newark and Ollerton.

There are 2 posts available 37.5 and 30 hours per week with a chance to pick shifts at the support worker rate.

The 30 hours is temporary for 9 month period to cover maternity leave starting 30th June 2023. This will be covering Newark services.

The 37.5 hours is temporary for 12 months period with a chance to review at this time covering services in Newark and Ollerton. Start date 29th May 2023

This role will include

• Promoting a team culture where the team are confident in being accountable and making decisions.
• Contributing to and overseeing systems and records that support health and safety and maintenance of service environment as required.
• To be confident in being able to work using a computer and electronic systems.
• Support and develop the team across three locations.
• Contributing to the monitoring and completion of management reporting systems.
• Undertaking effective and agreed SYF reviews for team members.
• Leading on the review and implementation of support planning, risk assessment and evidence outcome based support.
• Contributing to monitoring and completion of administration systems such as reviewing timesheets and inputting information into Office Base (kinetic) systems and invoice systems.
• You will be required to demonstrate that you have developed enough skills and knowledge to be able to progress to a future roles.
• Supporting the team to be compliant in their induction and training.
• Supporting the Service Manager by undertaking agreed management tasks.

The post will be off rota but where required may need to work shifts however there is an expectation to work flexibly including working evenings and weekends.
