Assistant Residential Supervisor Is Responsible For

• Ensure that all cottage census are completed
• Monitoring staff schedule to ensure coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and emergency coverage
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cottage programs
• Ensures and maintains the appearance of the cottage including bedrooms meet cleanliness expectations, living areas are neat and clean and each residential bedroom is clean, orderly and is decorated appropriately
• Assures that all Office of Children and Family Services Regulations and Council on Accreditation standards are observed
• Provide leadership and guidance to the residential services staff. Develop and maintains an active, visible and positive CHK presence throughout the campus

Requirement

• Associates Degree (60 + credits) in related field preferred
• 2 year's experience in direct youth care services preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Supervisory experience

This position reports to the Residential Supervisor. This position will assist in the development and the maintaining of a sound therapeutic milieu. The Assistant Residential Supervisor must strive to assure that the children's treatment goals, which are established by the interdisciplinary team, are achieved through techniques and practices that are the result of a treatment team effort. The Assistant Residential Supervisor must ensure the living areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness including each residential bedroom.
