Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Engineering Experience) - Fairview, NJ
Salary: $70k-$90k Base (Flexible/DOE) + Paid Single Health Benefits!
Schedule: 7-5pm Monday-Friday (Occasional local travel to sites)
As an Assistant Project manager, you will be a contributing member of the Project Management Team to ensure the successful completion of on-going or new projects. This means liaising with entities and ensure project delivery within the agreed timeline and budget.
Job Responsibilities
The position is mostly 90% in office assisting PM helping with close outs, purchase orders, filings etc.They will go out to the filed (jobsites) when needed by the other project managers
Qualifications: 3+ years of relatable Assistant Project Manager experience 5 years of civil construction experience highly preferred Assists in the development of bid proposals for upcoming construction and services projects. Works as a contributing member of the Project Management Team to ensure the successful completion of on-going or new projects. Experience on road and bridge related projects is a bonus.
Additional Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent 2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor Previous experience in a Project Management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results Working knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends Consistent attention to details with the ability to identify discrepancies Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills with a variety of software packages
