We're looking for a collaborative Assistant Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Supporting the Sr. Project Manager based out of our client’s office in Hauppauge, NY, you'll be responsible for analyzing and developing reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the client by applying proven project management techniques. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Thorough knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document control, forecast scheduling and costs, preparation of change order review, and review of payments
• This position may involve emergency work beyond regular hours
• Work will require access to secure facilities and employment will be dependent on clearing a background check
• 4+ years as a Superintendent or Project Engineer on projects valued above $5 million
• Working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
• 6+ years of related construction project management experience with construction building projects
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Willing and able to drive to client sites

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience managing projects within existing occupied facilities

Typical salary range for this position is $110,853 - $116,688 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
