MR. PORTER are now seeking a talented Assistant Personal Shopper to join the team in NYC. MR. PORTER Assistant Personal Shopper’s support with providing our EIPs with personalized access to the latest trends, newest and most exclusive products, and bespoke invite-only-events.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
  • Organise and check stock for consignment deliveries to key customers
  • Work alongside two Personal Shoppers to support them in their daily duties
  • Outline the service benefits to customers
  • Liaise with all relevant departments to resolve issues promptly and follow up until completion
  • Resolve all daily order issues, returns, stock discrepancies
  • Help with creating dedicated emails for our customers with product images, product details and pricing
  • Support the Personal Shopper’s clients if the Personal Shopper is Out of Office
  • Assist with events, from: setting up, participating and helping to take down
  • Process orders, pre-orders and reservations of product when needed
  • Arrange samples to be sent to the head office and help with the dressing of our EIP fitting rooms
The type of person we are looking for:
  • A flexible and positive attitude
  • A strong interest in Fashion
  • Previous experience in a luxury sales and customer facing environment
  • Understanding of brand
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral- additional languages are always desirable)
  • Ability to build positive and influential internal relationships with other teams, to ensure support with prompt resolution of issues
  • Computer literacy, with experience and prowess across Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
Compensation for this role ranges from $18.46/hr. - $23.08/hr. and eligible for monthly bonus. Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.
