Responsibilities

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
• Personnel management experience desired
• Food and Beverage experience within a full-service restaurant
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated passion for guest service and employee development
• Ability to use front office software and payroll system
• Interest in our mission of sustainability
• Knowledge of operations management and profit and loss
• Assistant General Managers are responsible for, but not limited to, the follow duties:
• Strong detail orientation; ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Demonstrated knowledge in wine and spirits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an upscale restaurant (and the quality and services expectations associated therewith) preferred
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of two years of experience in a food and beverage or related field preferred
• Customary and regular exercise of independent judgment and discretionary powers
• Food/Alcohol Handlers Card
