The Opportunity
The Assistant Director of Systems & Special Projects reports directly to the Director of System Analytics, and will work with customers to understand and assist them in addressing advanced business and operational issues. Analyze existing business processes and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement. The Assistant Director of Systems & Special Projects translates business and operational requirements into designs and specifications for workable technology solutions. You will use technology with the goal of always improving service, accuracy, and efficiency. As new software or software modules are implemented, they will help gather requirements and testing scenarios.

Typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM with flexibility to meet business demands.

This is a year-round position. This role can be remote. #LI-Remote

Primary Responsibilities
  • You will perform related responsibilities as assigned.
  • You will be a subject matter expert on software for teams.
  • You stay well-informed of developments in several departments to anticipate future requirements.
  • You will create and test use cases based for new implementation of process and systems.
  • You will manage Office 365 systems (SharePoint, Teams, PowerBi, and others) across office.
  • You will maximize the use of implemented technology to achieve scalable business processes.
  • You will work independently, and collaboratively to identify inefficiencies, provide solutions, and implement processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • You will design creative and easy to understand frameworks and visuals for end-users, which includes documentation, forms, infographic, SharePoint site page, and others.
  • You will develop standards for multiple departmental documentation, systems, and support management.
  • You will update and improve existing reports using multiple systems and tools for teams.
  • You will manage one or more projects of varying sizes, often involving multiple internal and external members and partners.
  • You will analyze organizational and system changes, impacts and develop activities/deliverables for Change Management strategy for projects.
  • You will develop training material and provide training relevant to the use of software, technology and business processes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • You have experience documenting business process requirements and managing projects.
  • You have great customer service and communication skills.
  • You have experience in creative visuals and solutions.
  • You are comfortable solving complex business problems, exercise good judgment, and conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner.
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft product skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • You have an elevated level of technical skills/experience and analytical skills.
  • 1+ years of experience in reporting and understanding of relational database concepts. (use of multiple data sources)
