Assistant Athletics Director For Facilities And Operations

Summary:

This position will coordinate Athletic Facilities and Operations. Reporting to the Athletic Director, the selected candidate will serve as a member of the Athletic Department Senior Staff.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination of all competitions and facility schedules
• Create yearly visiting team guides
• Responsible to meet with head coaches and department managers to identify facility needs
• Responsible for oversight and hiring of student work force for game days
• Coordinate and effectively communicate with campus Facilities and Operations staff
• Responsible for consistent monitoring of facilities and athletic department vehicles
• Serve as an active member of the Athletic Department Senior Team
• Supervise and manage the Coordinator of Athletic Operations position
• Coordinate office supplies ordering and inventory
• Responsible for Game contracts and select vendor contracts
• Develop and maintain a facilities inventory and depreciation/replacement schedule
• Coordinate the set up and breakdown of facilities for athletic events
• Assist with the coordination of signature athletics events.
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with development of budget requests and manage facilities and operations budgets
• Create and implement Game day management plans and policies
• Serves as a game manager for various home competitions.

• Represent the University and Athletic department in an ethical manner consistent with the values of the institution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree; master's preferred
• Must have at least one year experience in administration in a college athletic department
