Eaton’s ES CRDS COMM Commercial division is currently seeking a Assembly Light Non-Electrical (2nd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $17.94 per hour + 5% shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll do:
The Assembly Weld works within the Fabrication unit and is responsible for assembling case parts and products using machinery and hand tools.
- Train new-hire assembly welds on operating lines
- Cross train in various areas of the Fabrication department
- Assemble products using various types of equipment
- Use hand tools, small power tools, or other special equipment to assemble products
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton’s 5S procedures
- Perform rework operations as required.
- Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor
- Conduct inspection of parts and quality checks using a variety of measuring tools.
- Replenish inventory of fabrication department
- Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton Quality standards and systems
- Interpret orders and drawings to determine procedures and conduct work according to drawing specifications
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma, or GED from an accredited institution
- Must have worked at least 6 months in their current role
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Cleveland, TN will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
Skills:
Experience working with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, drills) preferred..
