Assembly Jobs

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of quality control procedures
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability in using tools (Dial indicators, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools, bore gauges) and test equipment
• Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.

Responsibilities:

• Use precision tools to measure and assist in the machining and assembly of engine heads using power, manual tools, and precision machining equipment.
• Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensure that all engine heads are machined and assembled to the correct value.
• Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Maintain a “Tour Ready” work environment.
• Report issues, malfunction, or defective components.
• Read and set up gauges.
• Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
• Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.

• Ability to lift block components weighing 50 lbs. repeatability.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours

This position is in a manufacturing environment, primary focus on machining and assembly of engine heads. Regular exposure to noise, oil, lubricants, sealants, cleaning chemicals.
