Onward Search needs an Freelance Art Director specializing in marketing and events for a Fortune 100 global consulting firm.

• This is a 6+ month contract and remote opportunity.
• You’ll join the Creative Team to support with conceptualizing and executing on sophisticated solutions for an upcoming annual event.
• This role is remote and candidates from the following with be considered: Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, McLean, Tysons, Washington D.C. Will consider candidates in locations other than those listed above, but not in NY/NJ and CA.

As an Art Director you will:

• Work alongside internal clients and teams to drive creative and conceptual storytelling methods and influence the development of creative briefs, storyboards and layouts that effectively communicate design ideas and advance business objectives.
• Conceptualize and execute memorable and innovative experiences for a large corporate event and conferences.
• Lean on your experience in Experiential Design to lead and guide a team of designers, video editors and producers to designing a multi-million dollar event.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience working in a fast paced, matrixed agency or in-house team environment to develop a range of creative initiatives
• Successfully lead creative project teams and individuals in implementing project vision, concept and design of deliverables in various platforms and media; review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback
• Creative digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills
• Art direction and design experience, preferable in Event Design or Experiential Design
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related discipline or equivalent work experience
