Job Description
DSI is a sales enablement company that has an immediate career opportunity for a motivated individual to fill one of our key roles as an Area Sales Manager for our Door to Door (D2D) sales channel.


The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for providing decisive leadership and direction for dealers and clients. They will develop and implement short and long-term strategies to drive results in production. Additionally, they will provide hands-on training and evaluation to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives and initiatives.


We are looking for a person that will use their drive and expertise to develop and deliver solutions that won’t just satisfy our clients but delight them. They will maintain strong business relationships and make it easy for customers to do business with us, by listening, anticipating, and responding to their needs.


Travel is required 70% of the time

Responsibilities


  • Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand, and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix
  • Recommend service, product, and process enhancements to improve the sales potential for both dealers and the company
  • Ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and rewards
  • Develop and maintain relationships between different channels and cross-functional
  • Conduct weekly meetings with sales directors to develop and update strategic business plans for their dealers
  • Document client and customer interactions and maintain data related to the activities of their dealers
  • Observe and interact with customers and D2D representatives in the field
  • Conduct business meetings with dealers to discuss their evolving needs, assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them, and drive additional production
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and accurately project future sales forecast


Requirements


  • Five or more years of professional-level experience; at least two of which are in a sales management role, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business preferred
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
  • Availability to travel 70% of the time
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers, and clients at all levels
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances and adjust to different weather conditions
  • Crisis management, resourceful, and solution-oriented abilities


Compensation


  • 50,000K guaranteed annual salary plus bonus
  • Activations $1 per wireless, $.50 per broadband
  • At 3.5k broadband and 1k per month = $33k annual commission; up to $83k total
