Architects + Architectural Designers for 40-strong, Civic + Cultural Specialist Design Studio. International + Local Projects and a Hybrid Working Policy

Urban has partnered with a medium sized design studio in NYC as they look to add multiple Architects and Architectural Designers to their ranks as a result of an influx of work, both US based and internationally. They are 40-strong across the US, with 20 staff in their growing NYC office.

This studio is a total specialist in cultural and civic projects and has worked on a host of award-winning, high-quality museums and cultural centers. They work on projects locally, in the wider US and internationally, and draw on inspirations from across the globe in their design process, being a very international studio.

They work across a variety of scales, from exhibition design through to large, international museum architecture projects, as the lead designer, and do deliver jobs locally too – giving a well-rounded experience which is always of the highest design caliber, whether a small, medium, or large project.

They are currently looking for both Architects and Architectural Designers to join them, as they have several roles at differing levels, but you will be based in their NYC office and working on cultural and civic projects across all phases.

To be considered for these roles you must have between 5-10 years’ experience and possess a high-quality design portfolio. Ideally, you will have experience working on cultural projects and be knowledgeable about Revit and Rhino (though these won’t be dealbreakers!).
