Position Description

The Junior Accountant provides a wide-range of support with a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and accounting skills that assist the daily business needs of Infinity Solar. This person must have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Superior analytical skills and ability to work cohesively with others are a must.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to Director of Accounting

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity reporting
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
• Documentation supports timely, accurate processing and payment of invoices
• Various data entry activities via shared online sheets
• Calculation and tracking of sales commissions, including communication with sales department
• Prepare and update AR cash flow forecasts
• Compile and perform both routine and complex data analysis
• Maintaining the billing system
• Support team efforts by addressing escalated accounts
• Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
• Evaluate portfolio to ensure cash flow targets are met
• Performing account reconciliations
• Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
• Producing monthly financial and management reports
• Generating invoices and account statements
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis

Education And Experience

• A minimum of one to two years related experience in an accountant position
• Advanced computer skills required (i.e., VLookup, SumIF, Pivot Tables, Microsoft, Google)
• Equivalent education/experience may be considered
• Quick book experience required
• Associates degree in accounting is required
