Location: Suzhou/Shanghai/Hangzhou

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead internal team to conduct critical design reviews when needed.
• Interact directly with customer to execute the HV Battery Interconnect product specifications through prototyping phase.
• Create design concepts & work with CAD team to generate detailed component/assembly models plus GD&T drawings.
• Support Manufacturing team with PPAP, product packaging design and functional testing; review other alternative manufacturing process proposals as needed.
• Drive product compliance testing activities; coordinate DVP&R, DoE.
• Lead cross-functional team to conduct DFMEA.
• Participate in DFM/DFA review sections.
• Work closely with Product Manager, CAD/CAE team, Test & Validation, and Manufacturing personnel to develop/support new CCA applications.
• Work with CAE team to evaluate the CCA design toward meeting the product specifications. The required simulations are not limited to Joule Heating/Ampacity, Fatigue life analysis, Modal analysis, and Thermal-stress analysis.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail is strongly preferred.
• Min 5+ years of relevant experience in HV Battery Systems and/or Energy Storage Systems.
• Proficient in Solidworks, CATIA, or NX software.
• Experience in DFMEA, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up analysis.
• This role will require some travel.
• BS in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering is required. MS is preferred.
• Experience in metal stamping, plastic molding, and dielectric materials is a plus.
• Solid understanding of FEA and CFD analysis.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
