Job Description

Job Summary

DUTIES: Provide technical leadership to teams responsible for managing the predictive and interactive customer dialog in order to solve customer needs in areas such as service, repair, billing, and payments; improve the content and programming of Xfinity Assistant by using retrospective data analysis and prospective business analysis to uncover and subsequently treat both existing and anticipated high-volume customer pain points; plan, design, and develop new software and web applications; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; oversee the documentation of all development activity; build content for the Xfinity Assistant in the Content Management System (CMS), using fully groomed conversational flows and defined analytical requirements developed in partnership with the Analytics and Design teams; assist with tracking performance metrics; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; participate in feature definition, user stories grooming, estimation, solution definition, and architecture gap/issue resolution; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; work with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; oversee the researching, writing and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports; provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques; present and defend architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences; train non-technical personnel; and mentor junior level developers.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience programming in Java and Javascript; and developing and deploying Drools application; of which three (3) years must include using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), Content Management System (CMS), Spring Boot; and building and maintaining Mircoservices
