U.S. Bank is seeking an Application Developer with 3 years experience in SQL queries and C#, design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. In this role you will be part of the team established to configure and develop complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms, and consult with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation. You'll be working closely with the Delivery Manager, IT development, and Architecture groups while collaborating with several lines of business. #Li-REMOTE
Responsibilities
- Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards. Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures.
- Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs.
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products.
- Actively manages the performance and usability of Tableau to get the desired result
- Responsible for conducting Tableau unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.
- Troubleshoots data issues, validate result sets, recommend, and implement process improvements.
- Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront.
- Confident in taking the lead, improving the productivity of Tableau Reporting
- Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- At least five years of experience with developing and implementing applications
Preferred Skills/Experience
- SQL programming creating tables, using both SQL Server Management Studio and TOAD
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of application functionality
- 3 years of experience writing SQL queries
- Strong experience with C#
- Procedures
- Extensive experience in developing and managing dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Competency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SSRS, and SSAS, SQL queries, and
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Experience with Azure DevOps -TFS
