Provide high quality analysis and insights on sales, pricing, marketing, development and/or operational initiatives. Evaluate The Wendy's Company and Franchise performance to make well-developed, data driven recommendations that will increase sales, profitability and ROI. Serve as finance partner with business function for marketing, and partner with cross functional teams and franchisees as needed to drive profitable growth for the Brand.

Responsibilities

• Perform special projects as directed by the VP Finance and Director, as requested. Projects may also include ad hoc analysis across Marketing & Innovation.
• Prepares ad hoc analysis or reporting requested by the Marketing team, the Ops teams and R&D
• Drive profitability through analysis of restaurant and/or product performance, including pricing, sales volumes and growth, EBITDA performance, benchmarking, and key business performance metrics.
• Support the development of the annual budgeting process, monthly forecast, and strategic planning process relative to the function supported.
• Generate and support the development of reports utilized by executives and their teams to evaluate restaurant or product performance in various categories including pricing, sales, food cost, etc. Interpret metrics and results to provide leadership with key indicators of success.

What we expect from you

• 1 to 3 years experience in financial analysis position with large organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results, understand implications and communicate to business users.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques, including statistical analysis. Strong working knowledge of financial analysis.
• Experience with financial modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications. Ability to create and manage databases and Excel based financial models.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.* The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance. Director and above roles are also eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive award program.
