Analyst, Client Services & Repair

Job Summary

The key objective in this position is to ensure Jewelry New Sale Alterations (NSA) and Client Owned Merchandise (COM) Repairs are processed according to established procedures while meeting agreed upon delivery dates. This requires constant communication between Salons, the NY workshop and outside manufacturers.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Coordinate delivery of NSA Appraisals and GIA Certificates upon request.
• Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Reinforce, train and partner with Salons to successfully incorporate newly introduced procedures.
• Provide accurate and timely communication of all relevant information regarding NSA/COM orders to the Salons as well as internal/external manufacturers.
• Receive orders from NY Vault Operations/Salon and process according to established procedures. This includes proper inspection, care, handling and security of all merchandise in addition to tracking orders through successful completion.
• Communicate Salon policy regarding NSA/COM orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage special projects at the request of Management.
• Ensure NSA/COM orders are properly moved to Vault Operations or Logistics according to the shipping schedule and adhering to the designated cut off times, while coordinating with Special Orders, Merchandise Planning and Logistics.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory, research and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze reports to support the needs of the business; work with IT where necessary to create the necessary reports.
• Respond to NSA/COM and related estimate inquires in a professional and timely manner.

Job Qualifications

• Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
• Excellent ability to understand the organization’s goals and objectives
• Experienced with systems in a user liaison capacity and advanced with Microsoft Office (specifically in Excel)
• Proficiency in Business writing and spoken English is expected
• Five years minimum prior work-related experience, Luxury Retail preferred
• College degree, B.A. preferred
• Ability to prioritize and display a sense of urgency
• Highly flexible and adaptable in a fast paced and team-oriented environment while maintaining high levels of detail
