Job description

As the Amazon Administrative Assistant Team Lead, you are in charge of guiding, monitoring, and leading the Administrative Assistant team and ensuring they have the proper training. The team lead duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of day-to-day operations within the AA team.

• Assigning and delegating tasks to the proper team members.

• Motivating the team to achieve goals.

• Training new team members.

• Continued training for the AA team.

• Communicate clear instructions to the AA team.

• Monitor every team member's progress.

• Measuring the team’s time management and efficiency.

• Communicate with upper management to determine the best systems to help the AA team.

• Perform performance reviews of the team members.

• Resolve conflicts where possible and when they arise.

• Develop team strengths and help them to improve where needed.

• Identify and diagnose issues related to Amazon troubleshooting.

• Work closely with Amazon support teams to escalate issues and get them resolved as quickly as possible.

• Stay up-to-date with Amazon policies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance and avoid issues.

• Develop and document troubleshooting processes and procedures to streamline issue resolution and improve efficiency.

• Troubleshoot listing issues, such as suppressed listings, errors, warnings, and policy violations, and work with internal teams or third-party tools to resolve them.

• Manage variations and bundles of products, and ensure accurate mapping of parent-child relationships and product options.

• Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, merchandising, and operations, to align product listings with business objectives and customer needs.

Manage product listings and ensure the accuracy of product information, such as title, description, images, and attributes.

• Keep track of tasks and monitor the following:

a. Why are we doing the task?

b. Is it valuable to the client?

c. How much time is being spent on the task?

d. Are they completing the task in the estimated time?

e. Is there a better way to execute the task?

f. Work with upper management on any templates that we feel need to be updated.
