The Project Manager is responsible to own and drive end to end delivery of the project. The Project Manager will be required to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to steering committee members. Resource will partner with MDS project team members, business project team members, and local, regional and global stakeholders to enable delivery of the project using the proper methodology, i.e. waterfall or hybrid agile or agile.


The role will involve leading one or more traditional Projects and/or Scrum teams, ensuring that development team activities are effectively coordinated and barriers to execution are removed and ultimately business value is optimized.


How You Will Contribute


  • Direct responsibility in managing the project budget, functional scope, build quality, deployment schedule and operational readiness for all processes in the delivery scope.
  • Partner with business project leads and Technical Product Owners to prepare Project Health reporting: Scorecards, Status Rpt, Monthly Review Meetings, SteerCo pack
  • Project Execution: Leverage MDLZs Toll Gate Methodology across all phases of the project and associated project management / governance standards
  • Being proactive in identifying and managing risks; and communicating with key stakeholders in a productive and engaging manner is critical to the success of the project
  • Partner with the external vendors delivering projects, this also includes quality assurance with MDLZs & External partners in all phases of project delivery till project is successfully transitioned to sustain organization in Service Management & Operation function
  • Partner with vendor Scrum Master to deliver design build and unit test according to Agile Scrum methodology. Moderate and facilitate project meetings or agile events, such as daily Stand-Ups, Sprint planning sessions, Sprint reviews and Sprint retrospectives.
  • Manage projects leveraging the proper methodology, i.e. waterfall or hybrid agile or fully agile.

  • Desirable is to have experience in a FMCG environment with exposure to technologies for the digitalization of Sales Execution activities and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong analytical skills to grasp complexities and identify relationships between problems, risks, issues, and solutions; ability to drive team consensus
  • Business acumen
  • The ability to engage with and influence members across the organization up to senior business executives/stakeholders
  • Strong experience (8+ years) in project management including Waterfall and Agile Scrum
  • Certified Scrum Master (PSM) is preferred
  • Previous experience in managing projects with technical integration
