Job Description

Responsible for receiving reservations, verifying insurance, inputting data, and admitting inpatients, emergency room patients, and ambulatory surgery patients. Must be able to work 12 hour shifts (Saturday and Sunday)

Shift - Weekends

Salary Range: $15.00- $21.03


Qualifications
  • Must be able to type 6000 keystrokes/hour.
  • Operate CRT and other office equipment.
  • Previous experience in hospital admitting and knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding is desirable.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with public and others and maintain confidentiality.
