Receptionist
Summary
Provide positive first impression and excellent customer service to all visitors, guests and employees at the Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley Community Services Center.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Present a professional appearance and friendly attitude to all visitors and guests in the building.
2. Greet and direct all visitors, program participants and employees as they arrive in the building.
3. Utilize the visitor/guest sign-in registry and visitor name badge system.
4. Work cooperatively with lobby ambassadors to direct visitors and guests to the appropriate areas of the building and to meetings with requested employees.
5. Maintain an excellent understanding of the agency’s mission, vision and values.
6. Keep informed about all current programs and services, as well as the staff members responsible for each.
7. Assist with monthly building safety drills in partnership with safety department and site safety coordinators.
8. Facilitate and assist employees in using the agency postage meter.
9. Manage and maintain employee mailboxes.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2. Previous customer service experience required.
3. Ability to type/data-entry accurately at 40 wpm.
4. Experience using multi-line switchboard system.
5. Be proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, E-mail.
6. Customer Service Oriented with a pleasant disposition.
Qualifications
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
