The Role

As the Admissions Counselor at Alsana, you will be responsible for leading prospective clients through the process of admission to gain access to care. Some of your duties include answering inquiry calls, receiving new cases, and daily outbound follow up to clients seeking admission. Once a case is opened, you will function as a case manager, guiding the client through the entire admissions process, and acting as their point person.

Responsibilities

• Obtain insurance information, quote insurance coverage, and establish payment plans when needed
• Coordinate care with outside treatment providers
• Adhere to departmental expectations surrounding daily follow-up with prospective clients, loved ones, and/or providers
• Performing all other duties as assigned
• Prepare clients for admission and coordinate care with internal teams
• Guide clients through medical clearance needs and requirements
• Field program specific questions and setting expectations with prospective clients
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service in all verbal and written communication
• Facilitate intake screenings to determine program appropriateness and level of care
• Meet or exceed monthly performance expectations
• Maintain up to date, and accurate, documentation in CRM
• Answer inbound calls from clients, loved ones, and providers who are seeking treatment

Qualifications

• Conversion (sales) minded with an ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related mental health degree
• Ability to manage and process, contain crisis, and work within a system with many moving parts
