Job Description

The Arc of Colorado (ArcCO) is seeking applications for the position of Administrative and Outreach Coordinator. This is a mid-to-senior-level office support position based out of ArcCO's Central Office located in Denver, CO. Part-time, full-time, and telework with limited in-office requirements may also be considered.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for the right team player to support our organization and its team members, and promote continued organization growth. Our small-but-mighty team represents colleagues who are eager to step-up and step-in to ensure the organization, its events, and its activities’ success.

This position performs general office and administrative support functions, as well as serving as coordinating The ArcCO outreach and marketing efforts. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Manages staff travel, including but not limited to hotel, flights, rental car reservations, etc.
  • Provides primary administration of webpage maintenance, updates, and social media communications
  • Provides primary logistical support for The ArcCO’s meetings, programs activities, events
  • Answers main phone line, manages deliveries, mail, webmail list serves, email accounts and calendars, purchase and inventory of general office supplies, copier and equipment maintenance and related communications and coordination of services
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director
  • Provides primary administrative support to the Executive Director, including The ArcCO Board of Directors communications and reporting, meeting preparations, set-up, and technology support

  • Eligibility:

    This position is often the first contact Coloradans have with The ArcCO. As such, the ideal candidate will be open to a diversity of people and ideas, friendly and welcoming, able to empathize with others while maintaining emotions and a professional demeanor, and demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills.Successful candidates will have strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Doodle, Zoom, Teams and similar online tools, as well as proficiency on a diversity of social media platforms to include, but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.

    The ability to make quick decisions, work independently and well under deadlines, and successfully manage multiple assignments is essential. A commitment to a strong collaborative work ethic, a poised and professional demeanor, and a passion for the rights of individuals with IDD and the success of The ArcCO mission are key attributes to this position.

    A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant, outreach coordinator, or the equivalent experience and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency is preferred.

    Compensation, Location, and Benefits:

    This is a mid-to-senior-level office support position based out of ArcCO's Central Office located in downtown Denver, CO, with an anticipated annual salary range of $52,000 - $62,500.

    Part-time, full-time, and telework with limited in-office requirements may also be considered.
