  • Build, maintain, and evaluate strong, productive relationships with military and community partners including key constituencies including but not limited to: community based organizations, workforce development organizations, community colleges, universities, student organizations, department heads, alumni, staff and recruitment networks, K~12 schools, veterans organizations, and other strategic partners.

  • Essential Key Job Responsibilities*
  • Collaborate with local talent acquisition teams to design and implement effective strategies for recruitment from community based organizations to build candidate pipeline with due attention to veterans and underrepresented populations
  • Job Summary / Purpose* This Workforce Development recruiter will support the establishment and management of national community and military partnerships, with a priority on our Veteran Initiative Pathway (VIP) Program, to support pipeline development for veteran and underrepresented communities. This position will be responsible for the sourcing and recruitment of early and non-traditional talent in high demand areas and creating healthcare employment opportunities for members of under-resourced communities, including veterans across the entire CommonSpirit Health footprint. Serves as a liaison between CommonSpirit Health, military organizations, and community based strategic partners. The position requires a balance of strategy, systems thinking, creativity and drive, along with strong relationship skills and experience delivering results.
  • Manage the implementation of the VIP program, including staffing the Veteran Advisory Board, and maintaining pathways to support veterans through the hiring process.


Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience 3 year of experience managing community partnerships Demonstrated experience in establishing and/or supporting past veteran recruiting initiatives


Proven ability to develop strong relationships with partners (applicants, hiring managers, leadership, and vendors) to promote the company’s brand and find diverse ways to attract candidates

  • Pay Range* $27.84 - $40.36 /hour
  • Strong organizational skills; proven track record of managing multiple programs concurrently.
