- Strategic Campus Contacts Sourcing
- Recruitment Travel and Events Coordination
- Program Support
- Identify and source relevant and accurate contact information for key stakeholders, including college administrators, department chairs, and professors, from targeted colleges and universities using publicly available sources such as school websites, LinkedIn profiles and mailing lists.
- Aid in the coordination of the Campus Ambassadors Program, including supporting onboarding and offboarding of the ambassador cohort, managing the program calendar, creating and organizing program documents, organizing cohort calls, and tracking key program metrics.
- Partner Relationship Support
- Assist in maintaining and updating contact lists and organizational information for Last Mile's current affiliate partners. Source and compile relevant and accurate contact information for key stakeholders at aligned organizations in the STEM ecosystem for potential partnerships. Support semi-annual partnership meetings and other partnership events.
- Support the Outreach Team in tracking and reporting recruiting metrics (such as after each campus visit throughout the season), and affiliate partner engagement metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Technology Director, Finance Director and Grantmaking Manager to organize recruitment, application and funding data to assess the effectiveness of Last Mile’s overall outreach strategy and approach.
- Data Management
- Assist the Outreach Specialists and Engagement and Partnerships Manager with the coordination of on-campus and virtual recruitment events such as information sessions, career fairs, student organization club meetings, classroom pop-ins, department-wide faculty meetings, etc. in collaboration with faculty partners and student organizations to engage with students and promote Last Mile Education Fund's brand.
- Create and update campus visit itineraries, support travel arrangements and on-campus scheduling, coordinate with the Marketing & Communications Manager to support marketing needs for the Outreach Team and manage the Outreach Team calendar.
- Manage special projects and other administrative duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Administrative Support
- Previous experience in college campus recruiting coordination or related roles.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in human resources, marketing, business, education, computer science, engineering or a related field.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently, while also consulting with others as appropriate.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Preferred - knowlege of the tech industry and relevant organizations in the tech diversity ecosytem, such as Women in Cybersecurity, National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, etc.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and MailChimp.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for effective coordination with external stakeholders (administrators, faculty, etc.) and our team.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to effectively work with a fully remote team including managing daily correspondence in Slack, frequently checking emails, and attending virtual meetings in a stable environment with the ability to be on camera.
