Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (Supv Director of Corporate Operations) in the CYBER ENGINEERING & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION DIRECTORATE of HQ NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will develop, evaluate, manage, and continuously improve operating policies, procedures, and workflows responsible for the success of Cyber Engineering and Digital Transformation Directorate's administrative portfolio. You will lead a team responsible for functions that include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas, requiring specialized ability to correlate and corroborate information into reports and records. You will provide direct support to senior executive or similar high-ranking leader which includes managing information inquiries, schedules, travel, correspondence, and other/similar support functions. You will interpret and implement policies and develop recommendations to include remedial action on specific initiatives to ensure NAVSEA 03s ability to maintain management effectiveness and respond to higher authority requirements. You will interface within NAVSEA Enterprise and external stakeholders to enable effective execution of NAVSEA 03s management responsibilities and requirements. You will be responsible for the execution of all personnel activities (promotions, realignments, reassignments, retirements, etc.) supporting workforce maintenance and planning efforts per management/organizational requirements. You will provide supervisory guidance on administrative and work matters, establish work assignments, prepare schedules for work completion, evaluate employee performance, and identify training or mentoring opportunities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing or evaluating administrative programs and operational requirements (budgets, travel, records management, policy development, manpower requirements, etc.) to identify problems and recommend improvements for an organization. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information The NH-04 broadband is equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15 grade levels. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range for this position is capped at GS-15, step 05 which is currently equivalent to $176,458. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
