Job Description

Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Provide quality service to clients in a positive and professional manner by returning calls and emails promptly with solution-oriented thinking.
  • Works individually and as an active team member helping to achieve department goals.
  • Work with internal and external customers to ensure real estate transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review the real property documentation involved with each transaction in order to coordinate issuance of title insurance coverage to the appropriate parties.
  • Research and review company database and other available resources to identify title information affecting specific properties in the State of Hawaii.
  • Review and analyze recorded documents to determine ownership, land encumbrances, and legal description of the land under search. Documents all research and findings to appropriately create the transaction file.
  • Prepare various types of title reports to meet the client's needs with attention to detail and accuracy and in accordance with established processing guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to meet continuous deadlines and organize/prioritize workflow.
  • Must be a quick learner and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office environment or customer service.
  • Technically proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $39,000 a year
