Cartography Biosciences is a therapeutics organization creating the first atlas to identify targets that are specific enough to only engage cancerous cells, broad enough to work across cancer cells and patients, and safe enough to sidestep toxic side effects. Founded by Kevin Parker, Howard Chang, and Ansu Satpathy, Cartography is bridging immunology and computation to understand the critical differences between normal and cancerous cells, ultimately solving the challenge of finding the safest, most selective targets for a variety of immunotherapeutic approaches.

About the Position:

Cartography Biosciences is looking for an administrative assistant to play a major role on the operations team with a focus on procurement. You will join and work closely with our dynamic, highly-innovative team working to build the next generation of cancer therapies using modern approaches in the precision medicine toolkit. This role is 100% onsite, Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide backup support to the lab associate
• Procurement – Main point of contact for all lab/office vendors and responsible for all purchasing
• Assist with offsite meeting coordination
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Provide calendar support for the leadership team as requested
• Candidate Support - Assist in scheduling interviews and being the main point of contact during the interview process

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Start-up experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and to be resourceful with minimal supervision
• Quartzy system experience a plus
• Procurement/Accounting experience a plus
• Ability to handle confidential information
• 2+ years relevant administrative support experience
• Team player with positive attitude
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced and fluid environment
• Advanced technical skills and experience with both Macs and PCs
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Google Suites

The hiring range for this position is $36.38-$46.78/hour depending on experience and skill set.
