Job Description
Job Title: Admin Assistant
Location:
Livonia , MI 48150
Duration: 8 Months

  • The position is looking to be filled immediately for 6 to 9 months with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
  • This position is a contract administrative position supporting the production and maintenance teams with various administrative tasks.
To support the production and maintenance team, the position will require someone who can:
  • Stock / sort / manage inventory of standard consumable production items for production, maintenance, and office areas
  • This is a 40 hour per week position; however, flexibility may be offered as needed.
  • Process site service invoices
  • Track spending of open purchase orders
  • Answer access gate calls and direct visitors
  • Place orders for site maintenance services
  • Engage with suppliers as needed
  • Order & receive consumable production and maintenance goods
  • Engage with accounts payable as needed
  • Due to the hands-on nature of manufacturing, The position will required to be report on-site at the Client - Livonia site.
A Qualified Candidate
  • Should have an associate’s degree or greater in a related field
  • Must have experience stocking, inventorying, and tracking standard parts and supplies
  • Must have a strong safety acumen and desire to stay safe
  • Must have experience navigating payment processing and order entry
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
  • Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have strong computer skills, specifically related to Microsoft Office
  • Should have experience working with SAP; however, on the job training is available
  • Must have strong inter-personal skills and be able to communicate between departments
  • Should have a minimum of 5 years in a similar administrative capacity
