To augment our dedicated full time faculty and respond to enrollment demands, we are seeking highly qualified ADJUNCT FACULTY to teach day and evening courses in Teacher Education Department of our Thelma P. Lally School of Education.

Job Requirements
To qualify as an ADJUNCT FACULTY within the Teacher Education Department, the successful applicant must possess:

• State teaching certification in an area appropriate to the course(s) being taught
• Teaching experience within the birth - grade 12 range is preferred
• A Master's Degree in education or a related area

Additional Information
The College continuously recruits for applicants interested in Adjunct Faculty positions. Vacancies are determined on a semester by semester basis, and may or may not be available for the current academic semester. Compensation includes a competitive stipend, paid incrementally during the semester. After one semester of service, Adjuncts are eligible for a 50% tuition scholarship (waiver) for undergraduate and/or graduate courses on a maximum of six credit hours per semester (not to exceed the value of three credit hours). Tuition waiver can be used during the semester in which the Adjunct teaches or during the following semester. Additionally, use of the College Fitness Center, Campus Store discounts, business partners discounts and the eligibility to make pre-tax contributions to a Supplemental Retirement Account with TIAA.

The College retains the right to make decisions about visa sponsorship that support the College's business and academic needs, including providing visa sponsorship for only certain academic titles. Visa sponsorships are based solely on the needs of the College and at the sole discretion of the College.
The College of Saint Rose is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and secure environment for the entire college community and upon request, will provide its annual security report.
