Adjunct Faculty-Writing Instructor Jobs

Alfred University, a selective comprehensive university located 75 miles south of Rochester, NY, seeks adjunct instructors to join our first-year writing program as teachers of ENGL 101: Writing I, an introduction to college-level argument, and/or ENGL 102: Writing II, which focuses on analytical writing. Our writing courses are offered in person only, on a 3- or 4-day schedule.

This is a part-time position, without benefits, for the Fall 2023 semester, with the potential for re­appointment in subsequent semesters. Master's degree in English or a related field required; teaching experience at the college level preferred. Daytime and evening classes available.
